Mónica Heller is an Ecuadorian businesswoman, real state developer and trade association leader with a distinguished track record in entrepreneurship, business management, and institutional representation, both in Ecuador and internationally. Her career has been defined by strategic leadership, the promotion of productive development, and the strengthening of the business sector.
PROFESSIONAL CAREER
Mónica Heller has led several companies within Ecuador’s business sector. She is the founder and president of M. Heller Group, an organization dedicated to the development of real estate, hospitality, and commercial projects. In this role, she has promoted urban initiatives in Quito, particularly in the La Mariscal area, where she has participated in projects aimed at revitalizing the district and strengthening its consolidation as a cultural and tourist hub.
Mónica Heller serves as Executive President of Hotel Dann Carlton Quito, where she has implemented internal policies focused on gender equity. She has served as a board member of the Ecuador–Israel Innovation and Trade Chamber and of several private companies. She was also president of the Kerem Kayemet Foundation.
Heller was a member of the Advisory Council to the Presidency of the Republic of Ecuador and served as a Councilor of the Metropolitan District of Quito.
In September 2025, she assumed the role of publisher of Harper’s Bazaar Ecuador.
Participation in National and International Organizations
Mónica Heller has held representative roles in business and leadership organizations at both the national and international levels. She is the founder of the Citizen Observatory for Mobility, a member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF), and a board member of the Family Business Network (FBN).
She also serves as Honorary Consul of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Ecuador.
Trade Association Activity
Since 2023, Mónica Heller has served as President of the Quito Chamber of Commerce and the International Chamber of Commerce – Ecuador Chapter. In these roles, she actively participates in initiatives aimed at improving the business climate, strengthening the productive sector, generating employment, boosting economic competitiveness, and promoting the inclusion of women and entrepreneurs in business activity.
Additionally, until 2025, she led the National Federation of Chambers of Commerce of Ecuador.

She completed her higher education at Tulane University, the University of Paris II (Sorbonne), and Boston University. She holds a B.A./B.S. in Business Administration and a doctorate in Jurisprudence.
